Information for Applicants

The Marsden Fund has announced the results of its 2007 funding round. 93 projects have been given the go-ahead: an investment of NZ$44 million (incl. GST). Click here for a full breakdown of projects funded. The 2007 Summary of Preliminary Proposals is also available online.

A call for proposals for the 2008 funding round will be made on 30 November 2007. Proposals will be accepted until 8 February 2008, and applicants will be required to submit proposals using a web portal. Please check this page for details about the opening of the web portal.

Instructions on how to use the portal will be sent to all institutional coordinators. Instructions will also be available from this site, and at the portal itself. Before preparing a proposal, applicants should familiarise themselves with the official guidelines below. There are some minor changes to the rules surrounding the applications from previous years, most notably an expansion of the Fast-Start scheme and different guidance on the size of Standard proposals.

Other resources can be found in the Panellist and Referee download sections.
